Where is Excella?

So I just unlocked her in the original mode (through the grimoire) but I can't find her in the city. Or do I have to play the Refrain mode? That would be utterly ♥♥♥♥

Afaik, Excella & Jinas/Genus is only playable in refrain mode.
they're in the city since early.

You can play them also in original mode after clearing the game

How make Excella better? I love her as a character but to play she is very weird and AI controlled she tends to stand around half the battle.

Actually i have the same opinion regarding her AI, it's not always like that, but almost all the time no matter what force (at least her important forces) i put.

if your question is for player standpoint, the 2 tunings i find suitable are either concerto for boosting aquatic aspect or flute-of-release tuning for boosting aspd/mspd.

You shouldn't use it before you got Jinas's and Excella's ending. If you use it before you got those endings, you won't be able to unlock the achievement wheel of fortune
