Water System and Filter Is Wanky
OK, i breed Angel Fish and thought this might be a good game but upon trying to set up the water and filter system it's just messed up. One the heater should be a stand alone part not connected to the water system. If you hook a heater into the water system you will get algae growth really fast, you would not attach your heating element to the water system, not sure why this is set up like this.

Second of all after spending some time trying to set up the water filtration system I could not get the pipes to go outside the tank to connect the input to the output pipe that is awkwardly positioned way on the other side of the tank, i have never seen nor would I want my whole water filtration system inside my tank. The water filtration system needs to enter in the back of the tank and exit also in the back of the tank in the center and the piping and pump also needs to be outside and behind or under the tank. I have never seen anything like this nor would i set up a fish tank like this.

Now there are plastic filter beds that fit in the bottom of the fish tank where the gravel would be on top and the pipes would connect to it but i don't see that here, I don't understand how this system works. Undergravel Filter beds draw the water through the substrate, but once again i don't see that here.

Myself i don't use Undergravel Filter beds because cleaning becomes a nightmare when you need to do a deep cleaning and they commonly clog up easy and reduce flow.

Anyways, looks like your have a good game if you make some changes and fix this whole water filtration system, make the heaters a stand alone item you can place where you like. You can make the heaters like a long strip heater that uses small suction cups to attach to the glass on the inside of the tank. Also canister filter systems are awesome and like a pool filter system, one hose in, one hose out and you can also clean it easy and most have a alternate filter you can use in them for diatomite powder which filters better then anything on the market.

We appreciate that you have taken the time to give us your feedback. There is perhaps a misunderstanding on your part about what we are trying to do with this game.

Fishery is not meant to be a recreation of the real world. We take a lot of inspiration and ideas from the hobby but we abstract them and push them towards a sort of surreal version of themselves and use a lot of artistic license in the process. Things will not be precisely as they are in the real world.

In regards to what you wrote about the plumbing system.

It is located in a separate compartment that is beneath your aquarium not inside it.

The input and output pipes are positioned away from each other by default but you can move them in the same way that you can move everything else in the game.

What we are trying to show with the plumbing system is show that it contrasts strongly with what happens in the actual aquarium. It is purely artificial life support made of inorganic materials. When we looked at real life setups of plumbed aquariums they are very utilitarian, rigid and orderly.

Plumbing example [i.ytimg.com] of a designed plumbing setup for an 800 gallon aquarium.

You have to find a way to fit what you need into the space and it can look quite beautiful but not in the same way that your Angel fish and the habitat you create for them looks beautiful.

It also works very much like a visual equation. Each device removes or adds something to the water. Sometimes they do both and sometimes these devices perform a bit of logic before doing so.

You mentioned the strip heaters with suction cups that stick to the interior of the glass on the aquarium. Those will be coming into the game along with other similar utilities. There are also a lot of things coming to the plumbing system too such as canister filters as you mentioned.
