I made a little video for you about plumbing but I shall also briefly explain what is going on.
When you first enter plumbing mode there are two pipes already there. An input pipe and an output pipe.
The input pipe brings water in from the aquarium and the output pipe sends water back into the aquarium.
If you want to filter the water you only need to connect a filter in between these two pipes.
You can turn on a visualisation of the water flow by enabling the button from the menu at the top.
Before I place an object I press R to rotate it's turquoise preview representation.
