Oooooo I'm so glad Gourami's are on the list now! What about a Golden delight Killifish?
Really excited about the Discus and Black Ghost Knifefish, I had a very friendly knifefish I called Sparrow after the Dragon fire books by Charles Ashton. Can't keep fish where I live now so this game has been very uplifting.

Would love some more Catfish. Pictus Catfish (so shiny), Upside-down Catfish (hilarious), and Royal Twig Catfish (the most beautiful).

One fish I didn't see that I find really interesting is the Bichir, or the Blenny. Both are pretty much bottom feeding fish that can stand on the ground. I think that's pretty cool.

Suggestions:
Bichirs
Blennys
Clown Pleco
Sturgeon? (I know they can be quite large)
Cuttlefish (they are rather small)
Flashlight fish (i did some minor research, they can be kept but have a lot of needs)
Pinecone fish (Just an odd fish to add to the table)

I forgot just how much I love those smaller Sturgeon fish (the ones suited to ponds, quick google suggests they were Acipenser ruthenus... perhaps there could be a very large aquarium/pond section). The albino ones always reminded me of dragons. Used to spend ages watching them along with the Koi's at the local garden centre. Happy days.
I was wondering will the fish have the ability to be different coloration of their species and will there possibly be crossbreeding of the fish.
it would be nice if there were European fish in the game like: Silurus glanis, Esox lucius, Perca fluviatilis, Sander lucioperca, Scardinius erythrophthalmus, Rutilus rutilus, Tinca tinca, Abramis brama, Alburnus alburnus, Aspius aspius, Squalius cephalus, Thymallus thymallus, Gasterosteus aculeatus, Pungitius pungitius, Lota lota, Ameiurus nebulosus, Misgurnus fossilis, Rhodeus sericeus, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, Hypophthalmichthys nobilis, Ctenopharyngodon idella, Carassius carassius (normal, not koi), sturgeons and trouts.
When will Discus become available in the game?

Yes different colourations is something that will be a big part of the game. We try to squeeze in some new colour variations when we can but most of our time is spent working on features and new species of fish. However we will eventually reach a point where we can just paint new variations for months at a time.

When it comes to crossbreeding, that is still being experimented with and I cant really give you anything concrete as of yet but I can say there will be some genetics features added to the game.

If all goes to plan they will be added by the end of April 2021
Christmas tree worms
I looked at the most recent update and saw that a male oscar is a black tiger oscar and that the female is an albino tiger. What is the thought process behind this? As both are separate color patterns that can have males/females in them. Oscars also display very little differences between sexes, so is this also to simplify the different for the average player?

We don't have any albino fish in the game yet and I thought Albino Oscars look quite interesting.

Can we have oil catfish as well as bumblebee catfish? Those are two fairly small and in my opinion under rated catfish that don't grow to gargantuan sizes.

Added:

Pictus Catfish (Pimelodus Pictus)
Japanese pineapplefish (Monocentris Japonica)
Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella)
Northern Pike (Esox Lucius)
European Bitterling (Rhodeus Sericeus)
Common Chub (Squalius Cephalus)
Honeycomb/Oil catfish (Centromochlus Perugiae)

There is still quite a few suggestions to get through, rest assured we will look through and research all of them.
I didn't go through all 7 pages so apologies if these are repeated but here are my suggestions:

Convict Cichlid - Beautiful, Boisterous, and Beefy

Malaysian Trumpet Snail - perfect for a Career mode - do you add them and risk an explosion you can't get rid of??

Bamboo Shrimp - The king of freshwater shrimps! At least in size! Plus they wave at you all day!

Bristlenose Pleco - The pleco for the sensible aquarist.

Upside-down Catfish - It's an upside-down fish. Enough said.

Featherfin Squeaker - A unique looking fish that gets a little noisy

Siamese Algae Eater - The playful solution to algae cleanup!

Denison Barb - One of the larger barbs and stunningly coloured

Hey I just wanted to say thanks you for adding some of the fish and also for listening to the community

thanks a random nerd
omg...thank you for updating,i'm kinda satisfied already.
Thank you for developing such a game!

BTW have you consider 'bout black ghost fish or some freshwater rays....like Black diamond as small-to- medium size and mostly swimmin just surface of the bottom?

It's not realistic but i saw fish can't get throw some narrow space - for now.
