Do multiple Trading Portals and Bridges work?
I built two Trading Portals, both near the storage, but the second one was mostly ignored by drones, and I was not able to sell double amount of goods. Is 20 units a limits for all Trading Portals or are there other reasons, like unsufficient drones? I had 10 small drones on that Cliff, and the priority of Trading Portals is set to the highest (on both).
Also I'm curious, is it possible to increase the trade between cliffs by building two bridges. Anyone tried this?
I've read in the old tutorial that there is a total limit of 20 units per train (possibly that's why some of my goods were never delivered, even being loaded to the train), is it still true after the latest patches?

Likely insufficient drones and too much work to go around for em, cuz each portal has a limit of 20 goods each you can put in the platform. 2 portals oughta be 40 goods. And yes multiple bridges does mean more trading, cuz each bridge has their own individual inventory, AFAIK.

edit: ya it should be selling about 0 of each item, rather than 10 total. The inventory I'm testing shows way more than 10 being traded. https://i.imgur.com/bm5eTWO.jpg

In my experience the bridges do not work properly. The ai is just not good enough to prioritise efficiently, especially early game where you may not have a lot of drones.

The main problem with bridges is that the trains will keep on going back and forth even if they have not collected and/or delivered what they have or should be doing. This leads to resources getting effectively stuck in transit .

As a solution to this I have suggested, numerous times on theses forums, that the trains should have a mini-storage cargo depot with an auto-loading/unloading crane so that resources are delivered and unloaded respectively from a train depot, not the trains themselves. This would go a long way to fixing the current problem. Either that or make it so that trains do not just continually run back and forth, but they stand still in the station until all ordered resources are successfully loaded or unloaded before they move.

Put priority I on all trading structures, and then yea, make sure there are enough drones on both sides.

You can also put a storage directly next to your trading structure. Portal and Shuttle are easy, but it may be worth a 2nd one near the train.

it's just made wrong. It should be independent of train going animation, resources should be dropped by drones any time and just appear on the other side 10-20 seconds later with some limit of total goods stored on both sides

Yeah, after I played further and got more drones, two Trading Platforms work fine. I set Priority 1 to them and to trains as well.

20 units is a limit per each portal per each resource.
Reasons are: too much workload // not enough drones // not enough storage space // not enough resources // wrong trade settings.

Buy orders need to be placed before platform arrives to make a buy on that day. Sell orders can be placed also while platform is there, but in a busy environment it is highly unreliable to place them after ~12.

It takes ~2 full drone stations (12 fast drones with 3 item slots) to transfer 25 of each resource with closest storage. If you want something specific sold/bough on that day as a priority, clear other orders.

Yes, yes and no.
Each train can transfer 10 of each resource and 15 people at the same time. However it is hard to fill so many before it leaves. Each bridge holds 2 independent trains.

Resources are sold to and bought from trains themselves, not other cities directly. To "complete a delivery" a drone must buy it (pick up) from the train. So a city needs free storage, free drone and positive balance.
