Batteries
At one stage all was going well, i had my 3 cities with one of them powered by power station. I had 3 battery plants making sppare batteries to sell as i had more than enough power......But for some reason even though i always had more than enough power my batteries were running out???? I wasn't using any for power or making any drones, nor was i selling any (i triple checked ALL my cities to be sure). So where were they going?

I think batteries are bugged in this game?

I've seen no issue with batteries, so my guess would be there's an oversight somewhere that you're not seeing, in my largest city of just over 700 I use a single power station and have solar on top of my houses so they use the batteries at night but recharge enough batteries during the day to make it work.

In your case are you sure the Uranium is getting to the power station(s) on time so that your city doesn't use batteries while it waits on a drone? This is what I think is a very likely scenario so you may be needing more drones.

In my case, cities have to be 100% effciency before batteries are produced. If it drops lower than that, production stops.

Then your spare power generation is too low. What's the lowest % you have on your power? Provide a screenshot if you can for ease.

I've never seen this before either, like i said i triple checked everything on every city and kept an eye on the uranium quantities and power usage and levels. I always had enough power to cover usage and my 3 battery stations were always producing batteries (not fast but still always producing) But for some reason even though i always had enough power my batteries were disappearing faster than i could make them as well as all the ones i had in storage. They were even going faster than as if i had no power at all which made it even stranger.

Any chance you can upload your saves? The Dev will be able to look into it much more easier if this is a new bug introduced with the last patch.

Sorry, deleted.

Your battery production was frozen because you weren't producing enough power by looks of things

since we talking a bout battery here,I want to ask did anyone know add more charge station work faster/slower the production speed ?
Coz it seem to have no effect on add more charge station
Lazymark May 7, 2018 @ 3:04am
i would have thought each battery station produces its own battery
Avasan May 7, 2018 @ 3:31am
additional battery stations just give you additional storage for it.
speed of charge = overpower / battery stations count

You're running off batteries at the moment in that screenshot, so the battery stations have no excess to turn into batteries.

That's why the building isn't working in that screenshot.

You make 180 power from your nuclear plant and a very small amount from solar, you need 381 in total so it's taking remaining required amount of 161 out of your batteries.

In short, you don't have enough power for your colony to make batteries with.

I only have 4 of the small houses with solar + a nuclear reactor run by 2 uranium mines, surely that should be enough.
Irushian May 7, 2018 @ 1:06pm
Ah yeah, I was rushing earlier when I wrote my reply, sorry.

The icon next to the power shows the nuclear sign so you can see 180 coming from your single planet and your solar is that small that you only see the icon and not the value.

But still, your issue is not enough power generation that it's requiring batteries to get the rest, which means no excess so you'll not be making more. On my large city I use only one plant as well and I have solar upgrades on everything possible which runs fine for me, batteries are used during the night but are replenished during the day so they're ready for the next night time.
