Please rework this fire feature
Right now this is totally unbalanced. Fire starts within the first few minutes when I am about to begin working on my city. Lost three buildings before the next settlers arrived, so there was simply no one there to put out the fires.

At the moment this is a game breaker. If you have to add desasters, make them mangeable please.

100% agree but not due to op... since you added this mechanic... my drones do not have enough free time to finishe the stocking of the airport manufacture...!!!

At least allow us to PRIORITIZE our drones!!!!

Doesn't seem unbalanced to me. When starting a new city the first few buildings were 2xwater extractors (with water at only 10%) and a maintenance building. This kept the fires under control until I expanded at which point I built 2 more maintenance and 4 more water ex.

well the issue here is when it procedual generasted... (i have not saved this game a single time due to how difficult it is)

and every new game is 95 >100% new cliffs in every single one... THIS is he biggest issue... - someone may say QQ fire QQ priorities QQ money QQ fish QQ XX

asnd then when someone like you comes along **dont listen to the nubs** everyone think we insain!!! but i tell you its because the randomized cliffs dev... sort this crap out or i will refund!

When fire breaks out I can't seem to save the buildings, then it creates a catastophic cascade (lose the maintenance building itself to fire, then water towers, then power plants etc etc), very very hard to manage once started. Maybe if there ware better ways to manage drones (i.e prioritise all drones to do something super urgent immediately) this may be manageable but the dynamics introduced by fire seem way off to me. I like the idea of having to be prepared for disaster but I think cliffs need to be bigger to accomodate new types of building, it's already hard enough balancing each cliff with power/food/water/entertainment/justice/materials etc etc etc.

The fire feature is new and does need some tweaking but it is not unmanagable. Depending upon population and environmental statistics, you need enough water to quench thirst and combat fire breakout.

Don't sell water or food to trade centre or you will run out quicker than you think. Sell things like engines, furniture, appliances. Contruct at least 3 maintenance buildings close to water source while you're developing your city. As your city grows, add more maintenance contructs and place one or 2 water extractors behind each one. The water in the fake lakes is for asthetics only and does not serve any purpose so does not affect water extraction.

If you have trouble with a new feature which has not been community tested, best to post in the beta feedback thread rather than individual posts.

Storage > landing > maintenance > house > ...
=> 0 fire problem until 150-175 people / work places are reached, then 2nd maintenance center is needed (red alert in the panel, if forgotten ! then just have to disable the new building to start a maintenance center).
Optimization : industrial buildings and storage area must be near maintenance center(s), then drones quickly strike fires (in x 6, it's as fast as "enable/disable airport" tutorial ^^).
I suppose this topic was opened when fire problem wasn't fixed ?
