trade shuttles

i want to set up a trade route between my main city and a "mining colony" so to speak and i'm wondering if trade shuttles refuel when they arrive at a diffrent city? since my main city has no uranium deposits and trade shuttles can't carry it.

No, the uranium price is for a 2 way trip there and back.
If you need uranium, you can either 1- buy it from the portal/transfer between colonies by bridges, 2- use uranium absorbing towers or 3- use mega-drills. 4- using ground mines is for later in the game.

I highly recommend uranium absorbing towers. 4 Side by side take up the same space as a uranium mine or a mega drill yet they increase your ecology, unlike the others. They also require less workers to use, which is critical since you want to keep your population as low as possible on the first 3 areas.
