This needs a REMAKE!

I am VERY surprised and disappointing no one has attempted at remaking this legendary game. I wonder how it would look and what other elements might be brought in that would keep it feeling like star wars but wouldn't venture to far away from the original.

What features or new elements would you like to see in a theoretical remake?

I'd love to see a game like this with modern graphic fidelity. I've tried other games that attempt to capture this feeling and while they're good, none come close to true podracing!

it is disappointing that this game has no brown or trans represidentation
this should be the top priority
