How do you restore Junkyard parts? & how do Pit Droids work?

When you purchase a damaged part and you win a race for the first time, your damaged parts will be repaired depending on how many pit droids you have and how much damage you took during the race. The short answer is that each pit droid is capable of repairing the full health of one part, so you'll want to race with equal or fewer damaged parts than you have pitdroids and race clean if you want to get them back to full health.
