Making money post-game?
Sorry if there's an obvious answer to this that I somehow missed, but how exactly can I continue to earn truguts (currency) after completing every track in tournament mode in 1st place?

Tracks no longer award anything, and I'm stuck with barely any money currently; not even enough to buy and sell from the junkyard.

Is playing the market the only way to continue earning truguts? I hope not!
Any help is appreciated. :muney:

There is no way to earn any money on completed tracks. One way to end up with loads of money is to exploit the junkyard. Find a very expensive part in terrible condition and buy it. Racing with it will repair to full. Then sell it for profit. In order to find a good part is to go back into the character selection and re-select, then head back into the junkyard for a reset on available parts.

I did mention that I hardly even have enough money to buy anything from the junkyard, though. And since I've exhausted the track rewards, I'm in an annoying spot. You say that this is "one way" to make money, but is it just the only way at this point?

I raced with that prize condition for about... the latter (more rewarding) 60% of the tracks, once I found out about it. So I did miss out on some money for sure, but not a horribly large amount, I don't think. My current money situation was likely just due to impulse buys of very nice parts from the shop to deck out Mars and Neva, etc.

I probably will take that advice and start a new file at a later date, and I'll try to be more thoughtful with my purchases then!

Speedrunners abuse the junkyard to make money.
Means you buy a high level part thats damaged, do a race with it to repair it (with your pit droids)
and after that race you will own that part fully functional, which indirectly gives you more credits since it's worth more after that

You can go to "Buy parts" > choose any item > press Shift+4+F4 at the same moment for max 5 times to receive 5.000 money (1.000 money per press). Exit Star Wars Racer and restart the game and repeat that to earn another 5.000 money. Continue to do that as long as you want.
