Xbox One Controller Not Working

How do you set up the xbox one controller for this game? I have mine connected Via Bluetooth but the game doesn't register as it being there. Then I tried plugging it in rather than going through bluetooth but the game does not accept any inputs.

Have you gone into Setting>Joystick Settings and toggled Enable Joystick off and on? That got it working for me. It's an old PC game so it doesn't defualt to controller.

I tried this after you mentioned it but it still will not recognize any controller input. I even disabled joystick, closed the game then re-opened and enabled again. No luck.

same for me...with steam controller

On the shop page it does not even have gamepad support as a feature.

I am running the game with a wired xbox1 contollers and it works. Win10, fyi.

Seems this game is very tempramental with specific device setups. Don't give up hope :-)

Bluetooth Xbox One controller here. No such luck, even after trying disabling/enabling joystick support.

It seems to work fine with my XBox controller. Until you go to buy parts. I cannot seem to make a purchase. GRR!

UPDATE: I unplugged a Rock Band wireless guitar adapter i had plugged in for Clone Hero and it worked lol

Wow. I'm suprised that nobody suggest unplugging your RB wireless adapter before playing :-)

I run a 144hz monitor, and that can quite offen cause issues with specifc games... including some new AA+ titles, so I know to look out for that. But, hmmmm... can't say guitar adapter would have flagged on my list of things to check.

I might be a few years late, but better late than never. I bought the game a few days ago on steam and was trying to figure out why the controller was working in the main screen but not throughout all the screens.. found this thread then gave up.

A few days went by and I was messing with settings for the keyboard when I saw that you there is a keybind to toggle the controller on and off.

CTRL + J - to enable/disable controller and play.

Hope this helps someone.

I was excited to try this but no cigar. It just says "No joystick detected". This controller works fine for any other game I have tried so far... hmmm....

Just got the game, and had black screens so i download a DNI and fix it and now the controller does not work a Logitec F310. Before i put that DNI file i was abble to run the game once and it worked the controller. Its annoying

Did you try setting your monitor's resolution in the "display settings" thing in the game launcher menu, when the issue was only the black screen (before adding the DNI file)?

Sometimes that, and/or unplugging other USB devices, is all that needs to be done to get it running.

The black screen issues with that DNI file was fixed. But the controller is not working. It worked the first time i played the game and after that no longer worked
