Game won't even start
I almost start shouting when I saw this game on Steam. The thing is I can't even put it to work, not even launch, any idea?

When you launch the game select the Configuration Tool.

Same problem. I'll get to the blue loading bar, and then it will crash.

Hey guys, I found a solution that worked for me

This was my issue. Had to disable my usb liquid cooling device (controls lighting and fan override) and my corsair void wireless headset.

WTF x) I have a Corsair Void Wireless Headset

This game is REALLY picky about what's plugged into your computer.
El goblin Nov 19, 2018 @ 12:56pm
It's because of the plugged USB or is it because the iCUE software? Does anybody know? Bit lazy to try rn xD
Sire Nov 19, 2018 @ 12:57pm
It could be either, but on my end it was because the Wireless headset was plugged in.

As far as I understand Episode 1 Racer identifies your wireless headset dongle as a controller (which it's not) and then crashes from trying to controllerfy something that's not the least bit controllery

what about it you have wireless keyboard mouse

same. What an absolutely sad and pathetic low effort attempt of a port. Literally every other game i got on steam will run except this one.

I had a Gamepad plugged in and it would not start. Disconnected it, now it's fine.

IMHO this game is best played on the Switch because I had the original version on N64 when the title was Sta Wars Pod Racer. i bought the game again and the controls is just as it was back then.

Wow, sell me a game that doesn't even work! And NO I do not have a wireless keyboard, mouse, or headset installed. NOR do I have any Icue or rgb lighting installed. I have my USB board and mouse, using Realtek sound off my board. I have nothing but a redo of my pc, with all drivers needed to make it work, and it gets to the blue bar as if its going to start, then, I get the trouble shooting box. I have tried all the settings it asks to try, and still not working. All my graphics setting are at the normal just installed settings as well. Why in the world steam are you taking peoples money, and selling them something they cannot even play. Guess it wouldn't be so bad if this was running on a XP machine, but since its no longer supported, then............? WTF? Guess I need to go find a "back up" so that I can play it, and I should of know better not to have bought this for steam, but for GOG instead :P

AMD ryzen 3600X
AMD 5700XT
32GB or DDR 3600 Ram Corsair
Msi X570 Gaming Wifi MOBO
1TB M.2 NVME SSD
5TB Spinner
Windows 10 fully updated
All drivers for everything updated for software and hardware.
Have tried to restart, and even tried 2 sets of AMD drivers for graphics and chipset. Including doing fresh install of said drivers to boot. I will not waste any more of my time in trying to get this game working right, for I have done it all.

THATS IT!
