STAR WARS™ Episode I Racer

Multiplayer?
It is actually possible? Trying to setup a game with a friend but we have no way to invite each other and steams overlay seems inaccessible.

What do you mean? Could you explain in detail please? I am quite curious about this too if a friend gets this with me.

Either your friend brings his pc at your house and you play LAN multiplayer while being on the same lan network, or you can use programs like Hamachi, and create a fake lan, as "virtual lan".

Virtual LANs are like leading your OS into thinking you're on the same network (same house, same wifi (or more generally, the same internet box), but at distance. So, there's latency, be sure to have a good internet to minimize this.

Maybe Parsec would be a good option other than Hamatchi

Tunngle is also a good option. Hamachi stopped working for our group a few years ago and we've used Tunngle for that purpose ever since.

Yeah, totally forgot about Tunngle and Parsec. I heard this one is pretty good.
There is also Evolve (not the game :p)

Parsec is the bees knees for old games like this that supported LAN. It's much more fully featured than older solutions from ~10 years ago.

+1 for parsec it works great.

Our Group on Discord uses Hamachi, and it's been working decently well enough.

Tunngle went out of business earlier this year.

It is very possible via Hamachi, in fact this game has an active Community that hold Multiplayer sessions each Saturday!

Check out our discord, we're happy to help new pilots

I am totally outdated about these programs haha ! I remember using Hamachi some years ago but didn't even touch any other yet. So I guess the best one would be Parsec then.
