Crash Upon Starting
When loading up the game it immediately crashes with the message rdroid_gnome release build has stopped working. Can anyone please explain what that means and how i can fix it. Thank you in advance.

Tried disconnectring usb's, only ones left in are the mouse and keyboard. Downloaded voodoo but its still not working, and nothing else is suggested in the FAQ thread. Thanks anyway :)

Is your SWEP1RCR.EXE set to "run as administrator" in the compatibility tab?

Ive tried running it on as administrator, different graphic processor. I get the same message each time

I don't know if it yields a crash report.

There seems to be a few additional ideas on the GOG forums:

You're supposed to mention how, so we might add it to the FAQ here!

I followed the link you sent. Sorry but i thought that was obvious with me thanking you.

That link leads to the main forum for the game. There are many "fixes" and suggested fixes on those forums, can you tell us which/what method you used to solve your issue?

Go into device management, click human interface, turn them off one by one, each time turning one off start the game, then turn them back on, one by one, again starting the game after each one, till the last one then set to the highest frame rate and the game should play.

Thanks man, the HID hint worked out for me :cozybethesda:

I have the same issue, but I have no "human interface devices" listed. I also tried running the computer at a lower resolution to no avail. Something I haven't been able to try is to change the resolution of the game before loading it. The GOG forum mantioned a method that involves running a "setup manager" that I remember from the installation from CD... but the steam version doesn't seem to have it. Is there a config file I can fiddle with?
