I can't login, using the Gameforge client with my account information from 11 years ago
I originally played the game back when it was new, in 2008 for a year, then moved on. I remember having 2 classes in the 40s. I downloaded the separate Gameforge client and it couldn't even recognize my email address. I attempted to test it and created my normal email address login on gameforge's website. Did Runes of Magic change publishers over the years and I can't access my old account anymore? I searched my emails for Rune of Magic, and noticed I stopped getting them from the game in June 2012, when Chapter 5 came out. They just stopped coming after that. I REALLLLLLY have no interest in starting over agian.

Same kinda thing happened to me too. My character 8+ years ago was 60+ and I never got the email notification that things were moving to a new server. Sooooo.... I too was in the unenviable position of either restarting or abandoning the game altogether. I chose to restart and I'm having fun. Hope you do too, whatever you decide to do in the end! My condolences for your other character loss.

Can you tell me what happened to the new server? I stopped getting emails June 2012, and never got one about it switching over etc. Funny thing too, I've played Aion and Tera as well, the very first Day 1 when they came out as well, and I don't know if they migrated to Gameforge or even if I lost those characters as well. So 24 hours ago, I created a Gameforge account and was certainly surprised I didn't already have one after playing 100 MMOs in 17 years, since FF11 on Ps2. But then I downloaded the client, typed my info in, and it's not accepting the password I just created 30 minutes ago?! Now I'm getting frustrated and emailed support about it.
