RoM login error, new from today.

Hi, I'm trying to play after the update of today, but the game launches and then suddendly a screen appears with this information:
" Connection lost, please verify your internet connection or the firewall param."
Well, I'm confused, I'm actually playing with another account directly from the ROM and there is no problems at all, seems to come from the steam server-link as of the IP check.
What Steam have (again) changed in the config to not be able to play this game ?

I have the same problem, it seems the steam has a problem, I cannot connect via steam but can connect via another client directly from ROM.

me and my firend cant enter from steam too and things is we only have steam version.

i mean we were suppose to play because of exp event. plesa fix it and make the exp event for 1 more day for out loss

It's not exp event today, it was only yesterday and next will be on Thursday.

Ive heard that its possible to connect via steam, if you install the update manually. If ure trash at IT and dont know much about computers tho, like me, then we´re all a sittin duck.

My guess is server maintance
They deployed the new patch on steam
but the patch's havent made it to the servers yet

Seems to be working now , i had to wait about 12 hours to login after the steam patch

Servers went to 140,000 ping and crashed for the last 15 minutes

Either server issue or they are getting doss/spammed

Yesterday in the afternoon, most/all of GF games and services (forums, websites, game servers) experienced technical issues, which was fixed shortly after.
