I recommend adding new tracks (if possible those of this year's formula 1 so as to finally try Imola) and I would like to know why I find the online always empty. (I come from Italy)

I've absolutely loved Ultimate Racing 2D so far, but a feature that would be awesome would be full-course cautions/safety cars, especially for oval racing. That'd be a cool option to have so that if there's some sort of crash, everyone gets bunched up for restart.

I have loved the first UR2D, but I have some suggestions for the sequel. Firstly, I would like to see random engine failures and dnfs in offline modes. Secondly, a damage model which makes cars lose their wings, have punctures and make mistakes on track etc. Lastly, a new tyre model with the medium and intermediate tyres added would be really good and balance the gap between tyres.

Make an option for non-collide cars please. Also show season history, so standings of each season, who won the race, got pole and fastest laps etc. Also show stats for AI would be really nice.

So, when will we be able to edit the car sprites/ car colors? Maybe even adding some sort of helmets to better identify the driver?

1 - Add turn numbers to the minimap, make it toggleable. This is so players can refer to turns more easily when discussing strategy. e.g " Do you brake in Monaco's turn 5?".

2 - Add a setting to change the default 10 seconds delay after which the race ends when the first driver cross the line.
When we play competitive 50 laps race online, sometimes the winners arrive 1 minute before the person in last position, it's not fun for the slower players to not be able to fight until the end, it also breaks the strategy as sometime it makes more sense to not do the last pit stop you'd normally do because you know you won't have time to finish!!

3- Add a proper time trial mode and allow us to play against our own ghost.
That seems quite obvious that a racing game should have this so I don't understand. It's not very practical that the only way to practice a perfect lap is to play a 3 lap quali over and over.
Until then maybe also add sector times so it helps us figure it out where we lost time when we are practicing.

Oh and I would like that implemented in the current game not just your next one. Most of these demand are simple QoL changes pretty easy to implement.
