Kane & Lynch: Dead Men

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men

Runs really slow.
Whenever i start the game, it runs like almost like it is in bullet time.

What are your specs ? the game is very demanding despite its age and recommended system requirments.

It's nothing to do with demanding specs, MY 980 gets between 7 an 9 fps in this game even in 1080p . Is there any solution to get this to work that anyone knows of? It's a bit hard to complain when i got it for about $1 but even still would be good to play it :)

Do you have Windows 10 installed? I do and the game runs awfully slow. I did a little research and they suggest to downgrade the OS, to downgrade the nvidia driver or force the game to run with the integrated graphic card.
I haven't tried any of these solutions since I have other games to play xD

edit
I just remembered that with windows 8 I had a gtx 650 2gb ddr5 it played very well.
Win 10 I have a gtx 960 2gb and bullet time.
yep 980ti here and it is total rubbish as well in win 10.

My GTX 970 has the same issue. I ran in Windows 8 compatability as administrator and it moved a little faster with the occasional pause.

Not playable

Just fired this game up for the first time (wanted to try out the co-op with a friend) and it's definitly broken; runs at a very slow FPS.

My specs:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Intel i7-4770 @ 3.40GHz
16 GB
GeForce GTX 980
Samsung 850 Pro SSD

Please can someone come up with a solution to this Win10 problem. Would be awesome!

Does AMD users have the same problem?

This game runs very very slow on my Desktop (FX-8350 + GTX770 + 8GB RAM with Windows 10). But, on my notebook (Intel Core I5-2410m + Intel HD Graphics 3000 + 6GB RAM also with Windows 10) the game runs much better, not perfect, but very playable. I guess the problem is with the nvidia drivers.

Well same issue for me - would be thankfull for a fix
A possible workaround would also be welcome - one of a few local coop games on PC
regards

Yeah I just picked this up and have awful performance as well. I've tried workarounds posted around the net, but to no avail. Really wish IO/Square would look at this and release a small patch but it's not going to earn them any more money so I doubt they'll ever get around to it. :\

Does switching to Intel integrated fix yay or nay?

The same problem on the GTX 970, and Windows 10 x64. Play is not possible, the number of frames per second tends to zero

I actually switched to playing number 2 and it worked really well then a few stages in it started to have the same issue. Pretty frustrating.
