it's temporary , the game is gonna be back once they finished the update.

The longer it takes, the more I worry it won't be back. I already own the game and beat it, it's a great game and I hope people can still buy it and play in the coming months.

the description is put there most likely to deceive people and prevent outrage cause they are "working on it"

I dont believe it honestly, they just removed the game cause GFWL became troublesome and complaints were piling up

Just look at what is happening right now with Capcom games that have GFWL

every single one was just removed from sales with the promise that "they are working on it"

I sadly have seen a lot in this industry and dont have any delusions about it. The game is done as far as Steam store goes and no miricale update that will remove GFWL is coming

Don't know how ofter companies honor their word, but gta iv was ♥♥♥♥ for years on pc and suddenly they updated it to remove the gfwl, arkham asylum too.... what I don't remember is whether they were removed or not before their respectives update.

Anyway they're on steam now. And all io interactives games are (at least all the hitman games). So there's hope. cheer up.

I think it's Microsoft encouraging publishers to erase GFWL. They removed it from Fallout 3 not long ago, and Phil Spencer has really been pushing for game preservation recently. No good telling everyone else to keep their games available when their own outdated service is stopping people playing a chunk of PC games.

pretty sure these games have a limited ammount of CD-key and they probably just ran out of them meaning the service can't activate more new copies.

dont think so. we played the game with our codes few years ago, now suddenly it doesnt start anymore.
