Kane & Lynch Dead Man windows 10 and 8.1 fix for lag

Well people, i had the lag issues when i started the game, and i really did a research to find a fix. But i didn't find anything that helped. So i tried some things and it worked.

So for those with the same problem, go to D:\Jogos\Steam\steamapps\common\Kane and Lynch Dead Men and then click on the kaneandlynch.exe and choose properties, then go to compatibility then run the game with windows vista compatibility mode. Click ok and then do the same with the launcher.exe. I hope it worked for you with the same problem.

Well that's the one i could find that worked on recent pc's. but there is the HID's solution that i tried but didn't work. Anti-aliasing could also cause trouble so try disable it.

I have a MSI laptop (GTX 970M, I7 4710MQ 2,50Ghz, 8 Go RAM) and i got 1 FPS.
I tried to change compatibility mode, launch as administrator, nothing works.

However, i noticed that if i run the game with the integrated Intel GPU, i have so much fps (10), but still unplayable ...

the specs are not the problem, cause they're similiar to mine... i changed both the game and the launcher to windows 10 vista and then i run the launcher normally

People have confirmed it won't work on Nvidia GPU in windows 10 , it works fine on AMD if you have a system with AMD apparently.
Steam need to stress this on the store page so people don't get caught out.

Im running the game pretty well, and i have nvidia gpu.
so the problem is not the windows 10 i think.

nvidia gforce gtx 960M 2gb DDR4
16GB of ram.

Sadly, using Windows Vista compatability did not work. :(

You run the game with the Nvidia GPU or integrated Intel GPU ?
I Have almost the same laptop : i7 4710MQ, 8GB of RAM, GTX 970M 3GB DDR5

i set the games compatibility mode to windows xp service pack 2 and it really helped with the lag and frametrate. Hopw this helps ya'll too
