Free block/ward for your team, heals, and great potential at single target dps.
Has harder time to hit things at 4th rank unless the Head Hunter can pull it upfront, but once you do, Unfrozen and Black Widow together can pretty much nullify all defensive skills/stats/buffs while doing damage.
It's a mix of physical and magical damage and you can stall the fight with stress attacks while healing up too.
Need to build up accuracy for Head Hunter, so grab that +12 acc buff from talents asap.
Critical ability perks to get IMO:
Lost Soul - Lucrative Boon (1 block/ward instead of 2 wards)
Unfrozen - Purging Blizzard (cancels buffs, shuffles, target takes 30% extra damage)
- Ice Lance (interrupts stances)
Black Widow - Fatal Bondage (cancels all blocks/wards)
Head Hunter - Lucky Catch (targeted instead of random pull)
Just started running this set up, but so far so good. Stick a mana leech item on Unfrozen so you can nuke often with Iratus too.
Weak against debuffs and shuffles.
Lich - Zombie - Blood Phantom - Widow
How to play...
Lich: Spams buffing the Zombie and BP; use Cloud on enemies to strip armour/resist where needed. Can be replaced with Unfrozen for certain match-ups (more control)
Zombie: Will typically spam ultimate as you'll have tons of Wrath. Otherwise use self-buff.
BP: Keeps aura on Widow that taunts and reflects damage (enemies kill themselves with this build); occasionally use other attacks as needed, e.g. to heal self.
Widow: Spam Cocoon stance to soak damage. Do not use thorns variant of Cocoon, even though it would seem the obvious choice for the build; you need more health restore than 4% to stay alive on high difficulties
Golem, Blood Phantom, Dhampir and Ghoul - are beyond notable grind wall so isn't suited for a new player too.
haha thanks for pointing this out. I'm still on my first run. Kinda stuck on the second last map. I have managed to unlock Golem and Dhampir but on just before I reached the end of the third map.
I did not and could not find any good suggestions for a passable physical team. So I tried experimenting myself. However I unfortunately have my bride die on me a couple of times, and I have no more brains to at a high enough level to play with anymore. Sooooo I guess i'm just going to plug away with my stress team until a get a couple more brains and then perhaps pause my first play through and experiment with a phys dmg build on another play through. At least until I find a good composition to help me with my current play through
Sorry about but it's hard to avoid....Widow is so integral for many builds on GAW. There's really no replacement except maybe a Bone Golem. Take Heart! Most builds can deal with More Pain. Just play what you find fun.
