On a bit more serious note that's the mods are for -- if DD has dozens of nude mods then we should be able to do clothed undead.
Unfortunately, currently while technically possible, there is no actual interface for modding so you'd be stuck with fiddling with spine models (that didn't stop some insane souls, but you won't find clothed females in their works)
Abominations, Skeletons, Reapers, Dark Knights, Wraiths, etc - For Necromancers, what you were in life is of absolutely no concern. Whatever you are made to be by the Necromancer is what you'll be for the rest of eternity, this is true of Necromancers both in Iratus and outside Iratus. Yeah, the Bride is clearly female, but merely cause he designed her that way. Same with the Banshee, though I've never heard of a male version in any lore.
All the other minions could be of either gender. When you raise 2 undead skeletons of different genders, the differences from a distance are hard to notice, you'd have to do a close up examination to figure out which is which.
In truth, I don't see the issue. This is a game about playing an obviously evil necromancer with serious ego issues and whatever. You're not playing a character whose gonna make the world a better place.
Plus, the floors themselves tell you all you need to know - it's ruled by people who don't really care about how you look, merely that you can help stop the tide of unspeakable horror that intends to slaughter them an use their corpses for whatever twisted evil they want.
And then there's stuff like "bride of Iratus" which is obviously female by design (in good old "They say love is the most powerful force in the universe. I'm trying to harness it to make weapons of mass destruction" way).
On the side note I've seen genderbent versions of Iratus minions and some of them are... quite cursed.
"Hmm, should I reanimate ugly 'diverse' caste of women or.."
He obviously has a type.
It's a missed opportunity to showcase some more diversity in the art. Female characters can be just as interesting and diverse looking as male characters. It's just a shame that the art team went with a very 'male-gazey' and uniform presentation for the artstyle for the female minions and enemies imo.
they've completely disregarded The Oracle, Shield Maiden, and Ataman.
They are diverse:
the oracle is a little person and of stout build, the shield maiden is strong female covered in plate armor, and the ataman is strong black woman.
OP is definitely just a troll or virtue signaling.
Good bait; well-played
There are a few female enemies that look distinct but most of them and certainly all of the minions are one dimensional in terms of presentation. It's not that there are no exceptions, just a comment about the art in general.
I would be frustrated with this game if they did make all the women characters look like hideous ugly men, like 99%+ of modern AAA games do.
That SJW-aesthetic crap has absolutely ruined almost the whole gaming industry, with only a handful of indie devs who don't bend the knee to it as the last bastion of hope for keeping a few good games existing wherein women are drawn to look normal and attractive and feminine, as they are supposed to, and as they have always been since the dawn of time, up until the SJW Puritans have suddenly taken over, like tyrannical dictators, within the last decade or two.
And Darkest Dungeon doing that horrible thing too doesn't mean it should be copied in Iratus. Bad decisions in game design, like that one, should be discarded and rejected, not replicated, to spread like a cancer, and thereby ruin additional games too.
And I have to agree with some of the other comments. Its getting really tiring seeing this constantly pop up in every game forum. Let the developers create their own vision. I dont complain when all male characters look like body builders. Its a game, and should be an escape from all this nonstop social political BS that infects every single minute of real life. We really need to stop inserting it into absolutely everything. Youre creating more people that are sick of it, than you may think.
Just referring to the Vampire female, since she's a Vampire, she's supposed to be alluring. "Alluring" can encompass many things, but that certainly encompasses a full figure.
Actually, the Banshee and the archer character never struck me as "enhanced"... I respectfully disagree with the contention.
Diversity doesn't mean there must be 10% male 10% female 10% gay 10% lesbian 10% transgender-not-yet-operated 10% transgender-already-operated 10% non-sex 10% bi-sex 10% chimera and 10% robot.
That's chasing tickbox without actually caring if they were properly portraited as actually being those type or not. Similar to how Fornite's MC gender work. It's the same character that you can just customized gender and skin, but no real interaction depended on the sex or skin.
And Trolling is using obviously fault information to fish correction from others, then using another non-provable information to argue. Which you are doing by claiming that ALL female character look slender and boob-up, which are fault because Werewolf is best girl and she has no boob. (No seriously, the werewolf use female dog anatomy and display no male dog characteristic (as much as how much that apply to werewolf via mapping organ to human equivalent)).
