This mf'r is the biggest slog I've ever fought in a game. It's possible I'm not using some optimal team (and I've beat the game once already), but it's just unreal the mechanics MS has to help drag the battle out (player debuff, player buff removal, self heal, self cleanse)

All bosses are closer to puzzles than to tactic prowess tests.

In case of the dollar-stone Geralt he always acts after your minions, so the easiest way to deal with him is to fight 1v1.
You'll need someone who has enough damage and/or lifesteal to get going either occasionally targeting healthstone, or clipping it with some AoE abilities.
Vampire + boiling blood, that kind of deal.

This boss, up to EH1 at least, is fine once you'll learn his mechanics and how to use them to your advantage:

1. Watch what oil he used - buff removal? block/ward bypass? and act accordingly, ex. don't buff your minions when he used blue oil.
   
2. Use obelisks; it's worth sometimes to strike the healing obelisk instead of the boss. Also AoE skills, whose can hit simultaneously the Monster Slayer and healing obelisk, shine in this fight.
   
3. Retaliation skills, like Dhampir's stance, are also useful.
   
4. Helpful spells - Blood Curse, Blind, Stoke the Flames, Rain of Gore, Battle Eternal and Dispel. If he don't have buff dispelling Infectious Lunacy.

I think I used a stress team vs fake Geralt back when I played. It had Wraith and Banshee on it doing most of the work, used the heal spell if needed. Wraith shuffle + banshee scream stance. I forget the other two characters

What's the make-up of the team you're using against him?

What's the make-up of the team you're using against him?

Beaten him once on normal difficulty, which I was using Bride (the archer) as the main damage dealer. Stress team of Banshee, Wraith, Shade, Mummy at the moment. High evasion, mummy to remove debuffs, no problem maintaining mana and wrath throughout fight. Got 16 rounds through and had only made it 1/4 way through his sanity. Honestly feels like an hour+ fight

i usually defeat him with pure dmg, hitting green stone all over, meanwhile slowly killing him too: like 4 werewolves or something; on very higher difficulties though, i always lost some minions
