Better than Darkest Dungeon!

Why didn't I buy this game before? This game is way more fun than Darkest Dungeon! I played so much I am late to work today

Yes, it is for players who prefer control instead of losing without making any mistakes.

I just managed to defeat first map with my team-stress composition.
2x Lost Souls, Skeleton, Dark Knight.
Team has excellent synergy

I am at cathedral level and I used same composition for every battle.

Nice! The game has rather high replayability, especially on lower difficulty levels where you can successfully use very many different teams.

It is vastly better over Darkest Dungeon - no stress damage (actually, it is you who deals it), obedient minions (no refusing going into a dungeon), and you craft minions you want, not rely on RNG favor. And lastly, you have spells for your disposal.
Can't say that for sure as I have not much experience with DD, but it seems interactions and combos between various minions, spells, and items are way more plentiful and interesting in Iratus: LotD.

It sure is much less stressful than DD. Its DD with more fun and less annoying details.

Finally finished game on "More Pain" difficulty. All minions are unlocked now. Time to think about sweet minion synergies.

Definitely! I liked this game so much more than Dark Dungeon which is too punishing and some features do not even make sense (like heroes getting tons of phobias and negative perks all the time). Too bad that there was no Iratus 2

I don't know that this is better, it is certainly easier. I enjoy it and have finished it a couple times but I do not find it a challenge, which DD1 still is, even when you know how it works. Game taste is entirely subjective, so better is a relative term. One persons favorite game is another person trash.

No. I had played enough that I lost interest but will try that next time I play. I am sure that is way more of a challenge 👍😃

If game feels too easy, it is natural to switch to higher difficulty level to keep interest. And then "game is too easy" is not a valid complaint if you are not playing on the hardest difficulty level ;)
