The main issue is that DLC adds not only another floor, but also alternative bosses for previous floors.
So for the best experience I'd recommend playing one run until the end, buying DLC, finishing the 6th floor and then getting in another run with DLC on.
Other than that the replay-ability is somewhat on low side and if you are experienced with the genre you might find the difficulty too low, but the game should hold for at least 2 full runs.
Great, that sounds like good advice. I've already purchased, via Fanatical, but I'll hold off on activating the key until I'm at the end of my 1st run.
After you finish the game, if you get the dlc, you can then go and do the last area with the same team.
The combo pack adds 3 new minions, potions another area and more bosses/enemies to fight.
I think it's worth it (especially on sale right now). The whole game is fun and enjoyable and I can see replaying it with different combinations in the future (Gonna finish my second run right now and probably take a break afterwards).
Fun game though and yeah, I think the DLC is like 4-5$ right now.....so totally worth it.
what determines the lvl of brains dropped in the game? is it the floor itself or lvl of minions partaking in battles?
thnx
That's not the surefire way to get me to answer, I'm not subscribed to this thread.
But I believe item pools (and brain levels) don't differ from minion or Iratus levels, only from the place where you get them (floor number, position on the floor and fight type). Could be wrong though, never dug deep in code.
