how do i know how long stances last?
In the encyclopedia it says stances either last 1 turn or until cancelled; how do I tell which it is for a given move? I see no information about the duration for example on the banshee's "nooo" stance reading the description.

When you put your minions into a stance it is considered active until their next turn, at which point you can simply choose to put them back into the same stance. The part about being cancelled refers to actions by you or enemies that might cancel, or "interrupt", said stance. I hope that helps and makes sense.

Thanks for the info. Is the encyclopedia misleading then?

At work so can't check for myself but going off the wording you provided it makes sense to me, of course I played for a bit. I definitely had to reread a few things or experience skills before understanding it completely.

You put Minion A into a stance. Minion A stays in said stance until Minion A's next turn -OR- until cancelled/interrupted. Let's say turn orders aren't messed up and 7 other units move before Minion A's next turn. Well the 4th unit that gets to go in that cycle decides to stun Minion A, well that stance is now interrupted/cancelled.

Example: I put Spider into Cocoon stance and immediately after some jerk stuns her, well she is no longer in that stance now. In a perfect world she would stay in the Cocoon for 1 full turn, or basically until she gets to act again.

That's pretty clear. The longest it can last is until that Minion's next turn, however it might get cancelled earlier than that.
