How does accuracy exactly work
So I just missed 7 95% accuracy dread attacks on an elite guard in a row. In general, I have notices that 95% accuracy is not 95% hit. I missed way too often for that.

So how is this calculated in the game? Resistance subtracts damage dealt, but not chance to hit.

Thanks for clarifying. I assume stronger mobs have some sort of hidden penalty that applies to the to-hit?

Oh, and second question: what is the chance to kill someone with a heartattack if their stress is down to zero? On what factors does it depend? Hard to play the game when I have to guess about the mechanics :). Thanks

95% chance to hit is 95%, you just got unlucky or what is far more likely, you're wearing the inaccuracy artifact or got hit by Hunky's debuffs. My minions with 95-98% almost never miss and my minions with 100% only miss on targets with evasion.

I don't know how evasion changes the roll but it seems to be a second roll for evasion. Accuracy over 100 probably just reduces the amount of evasion.

Chance to lethal seems to be either around 50% or higher, or it increases after every stress attack or with the amount of stress. I would like to know too, but essentially they rarely survives 2-3 stress attacks or a stress ultimate once they hit zero. I use curse & aoe stress though, basically you want as many stress hits as possible, I've never seen an enemy hang on for long.

For your inaccuracy, check whether or not you're wearing the symbol of (mis)fortune, and don't forget that each accuracy debuff is -30% and they stack.

I have missed with characters who had 115 accuracy when Iratus was not wearing any items to mess with it, neither was my character with 115 accuracy debuffed.

So there has to be some process going on that is not declared in the game. So I think you're wrong, unless I'm missing something

i noticed it too...any minions with less accucary than 100% like 95% or something did really missed ALOT of attacks. That included when enemy have 0% evasion. Dev really need to fix this..seriously what's the point with enemy keep dodging with 0% evasion all the time? It's just look stupid from my perspective.

Devs need to better clarifiy how enemies stats really work. Our accuracy with 95% vs 0% enemy evasion should hit alots and not missed like 2 out of 4 attacks (50-50). Right now i am still thinking that enemy have some kind of hidden evasion with 50% evasion chance...

Did the enemy she missed have more than 15 evasion, or a block?

I think you're talking about the bride of Iratus, and she has never missed for me. I pump up the accuracy of my other characters to over 100% too and they've never missed except when an enemy has evasion. Or maybe the enemy was immune? Like golems.

I haven't noticed anything weird with the accuracy or crits in my gameplays, besides my evasion banshee getting clunked more often than I'd like.

The thing with dodge is you kind of have to assume that minion dodge = 0. The RNG can decide that effectively your dodge is zero right now, and you have to plan for that eventuality anyway.

Missing two attacks at 5% isn't actually that unlikely. 1 in 400. More than that actually since you gave it four chances to miss, but the exact math is annoying. Are there 400 people playing Iratus? There are currently about 700 playing. It should be happening to two of them right now. And next minute it will happen to a different one. Will happen to over 1000 people every day at that rate, given that about half your time isn't spent in combat.

My guess is no matter how high you get accuracy up, there is a flat % chance to miss each attack. I too have missed with accuracy at 115 or better with no buffs on enemy trash packs. I have played other games where no matter how high you stack an accuracy type stats there is always a flat % chance to miss. That is what i think is going on here. Just my 2 pennies =).
