Vampires and Dhampirs: How to unlock?
It _looks_ like you need a vampire (or dhampir) to unlock the same. How is that possible? Do other units "evolve" in vampires? Can you find one in a "minion coffin?" Does one join you from a quest? Can you experiment with crafting and "discover" new minion types? (That would be cool, actually, combining various parts and minions with a random chance to create a _new_ minion type). What am I missing?

Thanks for any helpful responses.

Getting Vampire on Cakewalk (should work in general, but this will make it much easier as you have to dedicate a lot of talents just to get to a specific spell):

1) Unlock the Library as fast as you can and keep upgrading it as fast as you can, to maximize the amount of experience Iratus gets.

2) When having a choice between experience for minions and Iratus on the map, take experience for Iratus.

3) Unlock Blood Curse (Iratus' Magic skill) as fast as possible.

4) Bride of Iratus has the stress attack that can be upgraded to make enemies more likely to flee. Banshee makes enemies more likely to flee as her Feature. Some items also make enemies more likely to flee.

5) Use Blood Curse on enemies who are trying to flee and let them flee. That way you should be able to get a Vampire. Getting 5 Vampires should unlock the Vampire's schematic.

Unlocking Dhampirs will not happen until you reach the 3rd and final level of the difficulty you are playing on. Basically they show up in fights and for me, I just obliterated the rest of the party except the Dhampir and combat stopped with the dhampir still alive and I got it as an end of battle reward. Problem for me is i took the shortest route to the final boss and only got 2 on that run and had to play the whole thing again to get my 3rd and final one. I would suggest taking as many fights as you can in that final level until you get all 3.

To be specific the fight ends when the dhampir is the last enemy alive and is insane.

Getting 3 vampires in one battle is possible:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1824859719
The results screen shows one but it gave me three.

Skeleton uses tank stance.
Banshee debuffs, stun ultimate or absorbs fear.
Wraith casts evasion mist or escape ultimate.
Bride casts increased escape stress shot at the backliners, or regain mana adoration.
Cast blood curse on whomever is in the back/fleeing.

Ring: Smoking bands (slight risk of heart-attack, but banshee can absorb fear).
Amulet: Golden rose or maddening, some enemies get cowardice insanity.
Weapon: Hatchet.
Armor: Archmage's robes or rib cage.

It should be pretty easy to make three enemies want to flee without dying with this comp. As you can see the escape team barely took any damage.
