I am still playing this game on and off, but so far have never reached further down than level 30, having instead restarted the game several times with different characters, to see how they work out.
So I was wondering, how many levels in all are there? Is it 50 levels? Also, will you be making another similar game to this one? Would love to play another one like this one.
I'm glad to see that you're still playing. As a dev that means a lot to me to know folks are still enjoying my creations.
There are indeed 50 levels to the 7th Deep, the last few of which are quite challenging but I know you could make it if you tried!
I don't want to say never, but it isn't likely that I'll be releasing any more games. I have started work on another story based game, with all the basics working, yet it most likely won't see commercial release. Another 7th Deep would be fun too as I have many unused ideas. I would love to make a full game with a 7th Deep type side game included really.
My games just aren't getting enough attention right now to warrant financing and dealing with the other forms of stress involved with releasing a new game. Best I can say is to get the word out and hope for the best :)
I wish you lots of success, and hope you will not give up. :)
It would also help out a lot if Steam would direct players to other small devs instead of showing things like Skyrim and other hugely successful games under the "more like this" section. I mean, I doubt any of my games have ever showed up under the More Like This section of Skyrim, but I suppose that's what's making Steam money, not my little games.
Anyway, I'm happy my games get seen at all, so I won't complain too much (more) :)
