No it doesnt. Thats not what I meant. What I meant was some people play these sims without havin any interest in other video games.

A lot of gamers, will justify saving and spending to play new games like Wukong. Which isnt playable on these 2014 specs that you mentioned. Now I am talkin about economically sound countries.

I think you are underestimating specs people have at home. 2024 survey showed that RTX 3060 is the most popular gpu used on Steam. In top 10, theres gtx 1650 and rtx 2060, the rest are 30xx and 40xx rtx series. So not bad at all.

Most popular is 3060 with 5.88%, still most of those that have these cards play more casual games and could not be bothered with a game that regardless of the equipment you use requires time and effort to not be just crashing everywhere and many of these gamers could not be bothered to purchase even a G29 or T300, the simracing is niche and regardless of specs iracing still the most played because of its online features, no t because of graphics or anything else and of the other simracing titles AC still the most played because it is not demanding specs wise and have tons of mods.

1070 was one of the best cards but still lost out a lot to rtx2080.

Whichever way you look at it, those specs are 7-8 years old now by now. You can hardly expect to run new games on almost decade old specs.

Sorry, but I play AMS2 with the 2060 and it works.
But I respect the development of EVO... Good luck, I'm a bit skeptical.

For now Evo does not have GT3s (the Porsche 911 gt3 cup is not a real GT3), so ACC is not dead.
But the game is promising, the road cars feel good, the physics and ffb are better than ACCs.

What point is there to this topic? Same developers for all three games so they roll around in money either way, lol! AC EVO was just released in early access and has no multiplayer yet, lol! ACC has much worse physics so EVO will most likely make it completely obsolete if it gets SRO content which some leaks suggest, lol.

I hope and don’t think they will charge themselves with SRO licences.
If they do it it will be in ACC2, but please leave the normal Assetto free of these constrains (you can’t have this car because SRO, you can’t have this track because SRO…lol)
Of course AC Evo will have GT3/4 in the future, but no need for SRO.

Developing games is very expensive they're hardly rolling around in money. If they were EVO would not have been released in early access, there would have been no need.

It also is not a replacement for ACC, it will not go away. Maybe a new version of ACC is coming next?

It works just fine on a 2060 though. I get 60 fps @1080p without any upscaler, 25h in so far having a blast. Most issues people are complaining about is just optimization, whatever your system you will face some stutters, the specs might just make them more noticeable or not.

And "unfortunatelly" maybe in 2 to 4 years I upgrade my PC to purchase ACE.
Did not plan to upgrade my PC anytime soon, wont be ACE that will force me to.
