And it will continue with AC2 to get closer to reality.
For example ACC has both superficial and core temperature within the tyre model and AC don’t so by logic I would confidently say that ACC is more realistic.
At the end of the day ACC has more then 5 years of extra development on top of AC.
I can’t comment of any extra Mod for AC to improve physics if any.
And yes as you mention they do drive differently, for my experience I drive much better in ACC then if I jump on some GT3 in AC sometimes I can’t even get the tyres to warm :) !
Anyway is a no-brainer if you like AC (GT3 class) then you will love ACC for sure!
Have a good day.
Anyway if you end up getting it please share with us your impression.
ACC using lfm is the best gt3 online experience you can get atm. Outside of maybe Iracing but that requires a lot of money.
Please give us also some promo code so you can directly profit from it!!!!
Well I'm glad you feel that need because as the tittle specific he wasn't aware of such marvellous overpriced ice simulator you mentions!
Thanks in behalf of the humanity!!!
Please start reply of each discussion here to go and subscribe to IRacing!!!
You are right when you say ACC + all DLCs is expensive, Kunos have become a cash machine.
We are far from the small studio doing a game for passion, but iRacing is a lot more expensive. So much that I never imagined giving them money.
And, to answer the initial question, ACC is the more realistic game.
It would be sad if it wasn't, as it is the newer game that is specifically dedicated to this topic.
In the case you buy from the base game you are buying something several years old with frequent Discount and very affordable. In my case I stop simracing for few years and didn’t buy ACC until late 2022 and I pay if I remember well 11 euro and pick together a couple of DLC for few euro.
In the case you just need the latest DLC, like in my case last month, I paid 18 euro for 1 Track and 7 cars. How can this can be considered expensive when only 18 euro keep the game updated and fresh.
Compare it to EA F1 that charge full money for each year…..come on please be real otherwise we just hurt our beloved passion. SimRacing!
So if you want to be quick the 720 Evo, new 911, 296 Ferrari new Lambo and
and perhaps the M4 are far quicker than every other car in the game. Basically all the newest cars in the game.
If you know about setups you can make up the difference, but if you rely on defaults and maybe some slight changes to them, you will be seconds a lap off the pace against the very best drivers, this is not at all realistic.
In fairness if you rocked up to GTWC in a 5 year old Lambo you would be slow, but the only reason you are in the game is that Kunos cant be arsed to throw some updates on the older cars, they are relatively unusable unless you really want to stand little chance of winning .
I don't think the DLC is dear, it is the modern way with games you don't charge 150 quid form the get-off you charge 40 and then drop DLC in for years to make maximum profit for as little work as possible why would you develop a new game when you can charge 20 quid a year for releasing what is little more than a sodding patch.
YOU are suckers for paying for it all, and for setting the precedent that developers know they can cream far more out of you than they couldn't is easy, easy ,money, honestly like taking candy from rich babies.
