No Damage, no Fuel consumption, no tire wear !?!?!?

hey, I'm playing in carreer mode and enabled everything (full realism), but nothing works.
car consumes no fuel, tires don't wear, brakes don't fade... nothing 🤷‍♂️
I even edited the 'realism.json' file AND the preset files, to get full realism, but nothing is changed.
in single player everything works.

please don't tell me I have to restart my carreer again for it to take effect 😭

It does seem like you must of had the assists turned on when you started your career, It is kind of strange it doesnt let you change it.

Honestly I dont think I even finished the career so I cant offer much advice lol

Theres a good chance restarting the career is what you would have to do maybe someone else knows a way though.

I think you do have to restart career.
Anyway, career is just "race after race" without points or anything, you can do similarly with single races against AI or going online because you would have to keep track or your "positions/points and time" progress anyway (tho best times and average consecutive 5 lap times per car/track combination you already have on your stats).

yes, I restarted my 'career'. I think what I did wrong was to set difficulty to normal, because I wanted to try normal AI first... and I was wondering why I was driving so well, despite all assists turned off...
I hate this constant 'hand holding' of modern games 🤷‍♂️

Btw turn off assists at ingame options but not on setup, GT3s do use TC and ABS at their setup systems irl.
If you want cars without TC and ABS get other sim (there is a DLC car without TC and ABS, I forgot what car it is)
