24H Race (Singleplayer)

I want to do a singleplayer 24 hour race on ACC. how does it work with the AI taking over for their stints? Do I have to wait the full time?

Didnt know the AI can take over.. I thought it just swaps your driver names only. In my experience thats what always happens.

you can save mid race in single player and swap (with human team mates) in multiplayer.

AI does not take over any stints. You will have to drive them all.

I'd recommend - unless you are up for the full 24 hrs behind the wheel in one go - you do a couple of stints per day and save after pitting (not in the pits).

sooooo i can open a lobby, invite say four other players and switch drivers so that everyone can drive his stint? o.O

well to open a lobby you would have to have a server so its not exactly something you can just do in game lol.
but yea if you set up the server right not sure how exactly lol but it is possible many multiplayer endurance team races happen where teams are 2-5-6 people per team.

there can also be things like stint timers so you have to swap drivers every so many mins and also can put limits on how much overall time each driver can spend in the car so they are forced to have everyone one on the team race at least 1 stint or get penalty.

if you check out jardier on youtube he does a lot of endurance/team races esports level.

i think there are also sites you can pay to have a server setup and race hosted.

i also thought the AI never took over the name just changed but it still made me do the stint lol had been years sense i did this so i did not want to answer

i think LFM may even have some team endurance races not sure what the requirements are or anything.

anyways a lot of communitys have them as well if you search around you should be able to find something.
