Yep. My lap times are slow with the car.
Much of this could be changed with proper damper settings, suspension, ride height/ aero etc.
Honestly i never liked ACC much. Did a good 10 laps around Spa last night in this thing and it was great.
I did not even have my usual understeer problems with the game. On slow and aggressive presets, i could handle it very well
Mine was visible in VR
Good on brakes, not bad turn in but very poor on initial throttle in very low speed 1st gear exits, very prone to poor change of direction at low speed too. First chicane feels very bad in this. feels like you lose the front every time, seems also like front tyres heat up far quicker obv with front engine, so getting pressures right is a slight challenge, you have to add a fair bit more to rears than in say the Aston.
the sound seems like it should be much more throaty and deep more of a low rumble that changes into a snarl as the rpm gets higher especially the low rpm sounds weak though a stock v-8 mustang probably sounds better right off the lot lol. maybe this mustang just has a turbo v-6 or something although i thought it was a NA v-8?
the car seems much bigger/longer than mustangs IRL my friend has a 2022 model i think its actually just a 4 cylinder turbo LOL but still a sport package i mean still 350 hp stock or something its actually impressive considering its like a 25000$ car with low miles.
it actually seems fairly small especially on the inside IRL i dont think you could actually fit people in the back seat even lol and even sitting in the passenger seat with my friend driving felt pretty cramped think like nissan 350z on the inside lol.
its basically all front end the car feels gigantic in the game not sure why that is the case maybe everything else is really small IRL i really do not know.
the bumps seems crazy at times completely throws the car into a pretty uncontrollable slide in places that does not happen on other cars again maybe setup issues but still it seems very exaggerated the amount of bouncing that goes on after the initial bump is way to much its like it multiplies on the 2nd and 3rd bounce instead of it getting less it feels broken in this aspect.
anyways idk im glad the car is in the game i do feel like kunos just does not put as much effort into the American content compared to the European content.
maybe im just still sour they never updated the US competition servers and we are still at 3 races a night only(same as 4years ago) and that new DLC packs are not even added to this it just really feels like they dont want people from other countries to play the game after years of feeling left out as im sure the US region is not the only region locked out of built in hourly racing that the EU region gets it just feels crappy to be honest.
but yea idk the mustang seems fine i dont think they did as good of a job on the gt2 pack of cars and the same goes with this mustang its still nice to have though especially for free also the default setups seem absurd on the nords 24hr in general i just dont feel as good about ACC so im trying not to bash anything lol
its tough though when your really enjoyed something and it just basically got ignored for years while another region got updates its not surprising why this game is mostly EU players there is no support for anyone else you have to go out of your way to participate and most people starting out are not going to understand how to do this so those new racers from other regions will almost certainly not stick around when you buy a racing game but your forced to search for a outside source to race at its a bit ridiculous and does not lead to having a very big/diverse player base lol.
anyways im sure many people will see this and have some ideas lol and that is ok i just want everyone to be playing the same game and the way it is currently EU region has options that other regions do not as in hourly competition races you turn on the game you click multiplayer and every hour you can register for a race in the game this seems very simple and why is it region locked anyways just have a open competition server for all regions problem solved i would gladly join in on the EU servers and im sure many other people would be happy to as well instead this is not possible all of us outside of EU are locked out of this experience.
sorry for the ramble but i just feel the need to put the region stuff out there somewhat regularly hopefully at some point it is not an issue and everyone can race the same races.
there are 3rd party places to race like lowfuelmotorsport and thats great but i dont think many people will find this stuff before quitting the game as they would be stuck driving single player basically.
but yeaa that mustang lol it just has some oddities going on imo glad its in the game not sure how good it will do without some crazy setup though something seems slightly off with it to me.
def needs some setup work close to max rear ride height it seems also around 50% brake bias also can probably run max wing on most tracks either way your kind of limited to 5th gear so going to low of wing probably wont help too much.
Coming from the 720s Evo driving a car that actually brakes is so weird lol
