No idea what could be happening to your pedal, try checking potentiometers.
But usually the pedal range setting is in pedal setting page in config.
Some game has deatzone (ingored input) and limit max (set the max point).
My brake pedal is very tough, so I've set these setting on each game.
I have already looked in ACC and tried with various settings but the problem persists.
basically the hardware mod has "shortened" the pedal travel and consequently I can't use the full movement. in other games I can solve but if ACC not.
Did you install it on the clutch pedal?
So the problem would not be within the installation of the custom piece or the custom piece itself?
Sorry but I did not understand but understood that because of LMU you removed the Logitech software but the "hardware mod shortened the pedal" (what can happen if the hardware mod is stiffer or "bigger/lnger" than the rubber thing the Logitech ppedal had . . what maybe could be solved by using other pedal too or not using the mod).
I am trying to understand better while also trying to help. I am not defending Logitech, the brake thing may eventually falter as it is a piece of rubber and may get harder and harder with time, reducing travel range by itself, but the Logitech software works fine (GHUB just need to avoid being updated, it sometimes screw with your wheel configuration and FFB, Logitech Gaming Software is more limited in its functions but works flawlessly).
I removed the logitech software because on LMU it almost completely eliminates the FFB and I don't know why. My problem is practically only on ACC where I can't adjust the brake pedal travel which thanks (due to) the mod it limits the travel itself.
I would remove the mod but if you make it work elsewhere I dont know what to say.
As you removed, try installing it again and see if then you can adjust properly the pedal travel range ingame with the logitech software settings at default.
no nothing to do. same problem.
I will have to use the brake pedal and not the modified clutch pedal
I do use the clutch pedal as brake without any modification
I have always used the clutch pedal as a brake and I installed the mod right on the clutch. unfortunately only with ACC I can't change the pedal travel via software. in practice now with the mod the pedal has a very short excursion and ACC does not have enough margin to adjust it
