ACC is on sale...controllers??
The steam page says it is partially supported in controllers. I don't plan on playing on a wheel at all right now. How do the cars feel on a controller?

Do I need to tweak a lot of settings to make the cars feel ok on a controller?

I'm used to playing Forza and Gran Turismo, I know this game is a true sim, so I understand it won't be as forgiving. I just want to use a controller.

It is good with controller, hard to be consistent when really try to be competitive, needs a lot of consentration. If you are good driver with controller and you go online, expect to be somewhere around midpack, or a bit more futher in front. I havent changed not much anything from settings. And yes, havent driven it not a bit with wheel, no space and not enough time to put in as much as wanted. Dutyes of life..

I got 638.4 hours (and counting) of ACC using an xbox controller

I came from the F1 game which I literally uninstalled after tryinc ACC. It's tricky to setup and the car won't forgive you, but once you get in the groove I don't think there's anything better in terms of online racing.

If it is only to relax and play whatever you want, original AC is a better buck for your money. Controller support is also very good there.
Hi all,
I bought this game for my Windows machine, but once I started it, I was surprised to find out that I cannot set up my XBox gamepad properly, for example the option to choose which button to use for throttle, brake, clutch, etc. Is this a bug, or my gamepad is not supported?
And in the latter case, is there a way to try and fix this?

No fix, it is not a bug, ACC have brake and throttle locked to triggers and steering to analog stick because these require precision and smoothness, also brake and throttle on separate inputs because it may require you to use a bit of throttle along with brake or vice versa.
Try using Steam Bigpicture to force any other configuration but if you set any of these (brake, throttle or steeting) to some on/off-ish button, good luck not spinning or locking wheels everywhere.

From my initial 2 hours of testing, it seems to work reasonably well, however the right stick cannot be bound to view around. Instead you have to use shoulder and other buttons, which is weird.
