anyways i would make sure you installed the drivers then maybe just try to restart the pc then you could try a different usb port after that if its not fixed.
other than that hard to know much without knowing what wheel/pedals
you can not bind brake and/or throttle to buttons in ACC
they need to be binding to axis (except if you using keyboard instead of a wheel/controller )
ie in your pedals axis (if you have a pedal set) or in analog triggers of a xbox/ps or compatible gamepads
that's why you can't bind brake/throttle on (your wheel's) buttons
do you actually have a pedal set connected?
if your pedals set works in windows control panel then it will work in ACC as well, no doubts: ACC works with almost ANY wheel and pedals on the market without problems, as long as you don't want to bind (on/off) buttons for inputs that need to be pressure-sensitive like steering, braking and acceleration.
