Sorry but sounds difficult to me to understand why I should register to download some free setup. Youtube is enough for that and you know from where they are coming….
I personally use for my main cars gosetup and for all other agressive setup with some minor adjustments.
I was thinking OP created like a page with free setups (I did not open the link).
Yes, "at least" I would expect email spam so it would be a big no from me (even more without any lap time or showing anything about the setups).
Honestly "for free" but "having to create an account" never go along.
Want to post free setups OP?
Make an youtube account and post your own videos.
i am not really sure it does not say on the web site but that is sort of how it seems maybe after 3 you just cant download any until the next week or something?
but yea idk honestly i would just feel better if there was videos or something as the post above says also maybe motec data or something for each setup i guess the thing i worry about is that other peoples setups would somehow be added to this site as there are actually quite a few free setups via youtube/websites available with out any limit on downloading already.
i think you may have better luck with a youtube channel maybe you do a hotlap with your setup or something and then link to the website or advertise it in the video even an occasional race might not hurt or live stream/video showing your process of building a setup.
i think most people that end up doing the setup stuff tend to kind of have a following already or have worked at it for years to gain a following so it could be a tough path if your wanting anything other than a thanks out of it and also that there are so many paid/free setups available as well.
anyways i hope you can achieve your goals with your website.
However
no telemetry or motec data?
no baseline reference data for fair comparison?
no documentation for reasons why changes were made on stock?
no guide or cheatsheet on how to adapt the setup in unusual circumstances? Ride height adjustments on standing water be damned to aquaplaning?
Tyre pressure, ABS, TC settings and their relevant impact on performance?
no game version?
Allot of this data i think is critical to verify that the setups are legitimate and not some person using a performance hack.
I like the spirit but theres a long way togo before i ever consider these websites/services
Yes, "how the setup behave" is important and a video showing inputs would also show how the car react through turns and under braking also to what inputs and what lap times are possible with it (that or proper info written explaining it all, a video is worth thousands of words imho).
