Anyway it should be straight forward, if windows see the controller then just go in game, options and controller.
Now you can map all the function you desire, there are presetting for xbox type controller in case your is compatible. The options are splitted for wheel/GamePad/Keyboard see on the top of the UI. Chose accordly.
Good luck!
I'm sure if you use the Xbox controller preset it will automatically map the controller.
The right stick usually is for the free camera not sure what you are trying to do there....
Good Luck.
Will have to find the controller config file as the in-game remap goes from 3 dots to 1 when I use the right stick.
Not sure about the 3 dots, I have an old 360 controller......
Anyway there are several setting guide on youtube for Xbox controller maybe it can help you.
Good Luck.
ACC(no mods aloud) maybe your just in the wrong forum or purchased the wrong game.
its possible you have your controller settings in steam setup in a weird way as well also you have to choose controller in the control settings in game...
anyways on ACC/pc xbox controllers work just fine
no clue if controllers work on the original AC or not lol i would imagine they do.
