Faster on PS5 than PC
I am 10 seconds faster at Nurburgring on PS5 than pc even though I feel like I am driving the same. Anyone else experience this?

Another guy said something similar a few weeks ago.
(he was like 2 seconds faster on ps5)
Unfortunately he never replied when we asked him questions.
Try to find this thread, may be it could help.
But 10 seconds it’s huge, there may be something wrong with your hardware.

Even tho I think 10s difference is too much (what lap times you tallking about?) according to notes:

Assetto Corsa: Competizione (PC,XSX, PS5) v1.9.3.1 Patch Notes (2023 September 20)
General Fixes

Fixed an issue where the A.I cars and game sounds are frozen if you go to pit and enter the setup menu.
Fixed an issue where track selections would unexpectedly change when starting a new Open Championship.
Fixed an issue where the wrong livery would be applied to a Lexus GT3 on Open Championship and Single Custom Race Grid.
PS5 specific fixes

Fixed an issue when using a Thrustmaster wheel, the game may crash.

Xbox specific fixes

Fixed an issue when using the Logitech G923 wheel, the game may crash.
.

it is the same version as on PC so... it is not PC/PS5 version fault unless you are driving with assists on at PS5 or at PC (and stability control cuts a lot of power, what may result in slower times).

a 10 second difference is huge so it must be something you are doing maybe different settings i do wonder if its a completely different game for all we know physics are still completely different its a different team working on the console versions i think it might not even be kunos i think its outsourced or something could be wrong.

back in the day i used to confuse the track names quite a bit lol and confuse hungoring and nurburgring i think its about a 10 second difference in these track times sometimes i would even be practicing for a race on the wrong track haha and get into the race and wonder where i went wrong lol

anyways other than just having the track wrong i cant imagine what would be happening i dont think they are exactly the same games from console to pc. i started on console and going to pc it was a huge difference but that was 3 years ago or something.

I don't have a PS5 but I remember Project cars 2 was released on PC and consoles.
And I was doing the exact same times on PS4 and PC, it really was the same game.
I can't imagine ACC would be different depending on the machine you play, especially when it's the same version of the game.

Indeed, if he is taking something like Hungaroring and Nurburgring that have some 10s difference, or Zolder and Zandvoort that may have a 7~8 seconds difference (and he may be slightly slower at Zand being 10s slower in relation to his time at Zolder), Maybe Oulton Park and Brands Hatch that also are some 9s~10s difference and maybe he got confused for some reason, Monza and Misano . . . I am just guessing wild possibilities here, I also used to get confused with Zolder and Zandvoort as I did not knew any of the both, driven just a bit at both and whenever I joined a race at zolder or Zandvoort I used to think it was the other track.
