Isn't a simulator still a game though. This is what i don't get about "it's a simulator" no it's a game first and foremost why can't we have stuff like this in non championship game modes. Also if it's a simulator then why is their no safety car?
so if you did 30min race x4 time multiplier 2 hours would go by in the race/game time it would still take a little experimenting depending on track
for me usually if i want to race at this time its later than i would expect more like 730-9pm in the game i think this would be like 1900 in game or somehting lol
i think this is a very niche issue that most people do not think about or have issues with most would just exit a race and change the time if its not what they want lol
It is not set as "night and day" but as "hours of the day", the locaiton will affect it and if at north it is day at 7:00pm at south it will be night and vice-versa
If you can not know what hemisphere the country of the track is it is not the game fault (you are setting an hour not day/night cycle)
If you want to make sure it is night set 20:30 (8:30pm) and beyond
i do all my practice basically keeping the time the same and never changing it for every track lol
i do not notice any issue temp is always the same on every track and i guess thats more what im worried about than idk time of day though.
pretty sure i do keep all the dynamic weather stuff off for practice and in general unless im doing some kind of specific AI race in bad weather i dont really race the AI anymore
If you set the race for 07:00 at Brands Hatch then you will be racing at Brands Hatch at 07:00 in the morning in England. If you change the track to Mount Panorama you will still be racing at 07:00 in the morning in Australia.
The time set is the time at the track not where you are playing from.
