From 2024 in the WEC will be Hipercars , and GT3 cars.( LE MANS 24 h )
So i hope the AC 2 will have the license for all.
That's my point. Why is it funny?
They decided to make a game for GT car exclusively. It's ACC. ACC has the license now. They have AC for all the rest of the cars. We paid for ACC.
So, AC2 comes out and grabs the GT series license. That kills ACC. If we want to race the official GT series we'll have to buy AC2. We'll have to buy what we have now. Again. If this is all true I won't do it. I won't buy the same content twice.
Yes, the same developer who's doing the money grab.
Did you really think I didn't know AC and ACC are the same developer? Now it's my turn to laugh.
If they want to bring that competition to AC2 they can, if they want to release ACC 2 with GT WC in the future, they can. (If they still have the license ofc)
Other developers are still able to buy rights for GT3 cars for their game from the manufacturers themselves, or for another GT3 competition.
Kunos doesn't have exclusive rights to every single GT3 car just because they have the license for GT WC.
The point of ACC was to be the official game and focus on GT racing and they can not even add other tracks or cars to the game currently that are outside of the SRO series or something like that?
AC2 will probably be more like AC with a lot of different content
i do think tho that using unreal engine for ACC is still pretty bad and i feel like its really holding the game up and causing problems that just seem to be hard to deal with performance wise it sounds like kunos does not plan to use unreal engine for AC2.
I do think there is still a lot of content they could add to ACC but ACC is getting older at this point and in the end it really comes down to what other games/sims come out to see if ACC will continue or not i do think without some major changes ACC might not be around for to many more years.
I actually hope they make a ACC 2 or just maybe do a major engine update if they can and more or less rebuild the whole game and call it a update-i just dont see them doing it for free without selling it.
im sure there will be some other major sim racing titles coming out in the next year or 2 as well you see stuff about rennsport that also seems to be very GT focused many esports drivers are already pretty focused on this game it seems even though its only in closed alpha ...it also apears to be free for a very limited amount of cars/tracks and a paid subscription to access the rest of the content or something... personally i do not like renting video games or the content for video games so i dont think i would really be interested in this game also many talks about nft scams being involved and other money grab type stuff lol although it seems more legit lately
AC2 will not be ACC2, AC2 will be the sequel to AC, and you will still be able to play ACC after AC2 is released.
Not sure where you got the idea that Kunos is money grabbing ?
My post explaining it seems to have disappeared. Actually, two posts disappeared but it's not important.
