H-pattern shifting

Does this game force you to use a sequential shifter in cars, or does it allow me to use a standard H-pattern manual transmission?

all of the cars in the game are sequential in real life. maybe it would let you assign them though no clue on that.

There are no options in the game to set individual buttons to individual gears. There's only a "shift down" and "shift up" buttom. As the above person said, every car is a sequential, so there's zero reason to use an h pattern shifter.
