Xbox Controller
Anyone here using controller? I am new to this kind of race. And I don't know what button is necessary to map. Or is there a discussion already about button mapping?

Sims are better on gamepads.

I wont say that, but ACC is very good with a gamepad.
For me a good game with gamepad, is when you car moves smoothly, with Project cars 2 or AMS2 you can steer at the right/left smoothly, for the small correction.
With Forza 7, DR 2.0, ACC, you can steer very smoothly.

i think you will just have to do some research maybe search it on youtube/reddit im sure you can figure out some settings that you like.

Just to put it out there if you look Jardier up on youtube logitech is doing a giveaway for a chance to win there new logitech DD wheel and pedal set there are 2 sets being given away one will be for the fastest hotlaper (probably very hard to win this)

and for the normal non alien people- i think you just have to do a time under 142.3 or something at brands hatch to be entered into the random drawn raffle with the mclaren 720 Jardier also shared an esports setup for the mclaren 720 on the stream and in discord

so for anyone wanting an upgrade could be a tiny chance of possibly winning something i think there is something like 2 weeks to enter? you would have to check out jardiers youtube channel or logitech maybe to find out more

Depends, you mix assisted and non-assisted steering, it's very different. From any game, ACC has probably the best steering because of the physics, you can really feels the car. It's the most hard game as well.

I use X button for shift down and Y for shift up. Dpad for onboard menue, RSB for looking back.

I've only tried this game on console (Xbox Series X version), does the PC version have the same driving aids for gamepad users?

Yes, in fact, PC version rather is superior. I play PS version currently because it's the only version with working triggers.
