hello i would first make sure your pc is really good enough to play ACC in VR its very heavy and one of the hardest games to run in VR at a nice resolution and quality.

i would just set a budget for your wheel and stick to it honestly the prices are very different around the world so that could really make a huge difference.

DD or direct drive wheel bases are idk the best tech right now.

budget- around 200$ and under usually logitech g29/g920 thrustmaster tmx/t150
i got the thrustmaster tmx as my first wheel put over 1000 hours on it the 2 pedal set was lacking but worked well for a few months then the spring died and i orderd the thrustmaster TLCM pedals-the wheel base is actually pretty nice pretty smooth not super loud and clunky its gear and belt driven it does have nice detail in the force feedback the"tmx pro"version comes with much better pedals i would go for that one if it was me.

the logitech g29/g920 i have never used this wheel but many people like them from other reviews i would expect it to be a little louder and clunkier as it is all gear driven so probably less smooth i have seen alot of people complaining of software issues with ghub. but overall many people swear by this wheel and get years of gaming out of it.

300-500$ i would recommend the thrustmaster t300/tx really this wheel is very nice very smooth good power the ability to remove the wheel rim and upgrade-still keep in mind some of these sets only come with the 2 pedal set i would try to get the pro version or the one with the 3 pedal set or just buy the base a wheel rim and order the thrustmaster TLCM load cell pedals separate. i also had this wheel and going from the t300 to the way more expensive Fanatec CSL DD was honestly not much of an upgrade and i was a bit let down honestly i feel like the thrustmaster t300 is really as far as anyone would ever need to go to get all the details you need to compete with even the fastest people.

700-800-1000$ fanatec csl dd/gt dd, moza bundle, logitech DD,

honestly i only have the fanatec csl DD i do not feel great about the price i have the 8nm version also got the bmw csl wheel it was around 700$ shipped pedals would of been another 100-200$ depending on what you pick out overall the wheel base just does not feel much more powerful than the t300 the csl DD is very smoooth and fast and makes no noise the wheel rim is very nice quality overall though i would not purchase this again going from the t300 i did not really feel like it was much of an upgrade and more of a side grade.

moza has been getting alot of attention for there new bundle i do not know much about this but work looking up on youtube i think its the moza r5 bundle or something i think its 700$ or something in that range.

logitech just released there new DD wheel base as well i probably would hold of on this one for now or just do alot of research i want to say its 1000$ + for the bundle and you might be able to get more for your money with a different brand

overall i personally feel like my 8nm csl dd feels weak and for a DD wheel you probably would just want to go all out and get something 15-25 nm because the "budget" direct drive wheels idk to me seem over priced for the strength.

1500-20000$ lol many brands to choose from fanatec DD1 and DD2
asetek simicube and many more depending on how much you want to spend honestly all out of my budget so i dont really research these or know to much.

Thanks. Been too busy to get this project started. Today I found dusty old Logitech driving force wheel and will test with it how my pc runs this game. If I need to update pc, maybe I go with thrustmaster t300/tx.
I value your comments. My wheel budget is around 1k€-2k€ (without pc upgrades) including new base, current one is warped.
