G29 brake gamma and other settings

How can i make my brakes feel exactly same like it is in AC default settings? Brake gamma set to 1.80 right now on ACC. And also, what are the best FFB settings so far for G29 in terms of car control and best feeling? How light or how heavy should the wheel be normally?

brake gamma should be "linear", everything else is totally up to you, everybody has different preference, try and find out what fits you best

use the ingame ffb hud display (lower right corner) to make sure ffb effects don't clip

What do you mean with "linear" brake gamma exactly? Is everybody using linear brake gamma (1.00)? And about the "ffb clip" what exactly ffb clip is? And how am i supposed understand if it is happening or not?

Ari, from Kunos posted quite a while ago that load cell brakes should only be set to
linear, which is brake gamma 1. Non load cell brakes should be set higher up the gamma curve. @Pendragon I would experiment with the gamma curve to find your best setting as it is really a personal feeling regarding brake feeling.

I'm at 1.00 Gamma with ECCI pedals and that's working the best for me. If I pump up the Gamma, my braking distances get longer. ECCI's use pots, like the Logi's.

Setting Brake Gamma to 1.00 ended up horrific for me. I was somehow locking up my tires almost every corner. I will try it around 1.50-1.80 and leave it there probably.

Not sure which is worse, posting to an old thread or starting another one about Brake Gamma.

So it means linearity, as in 25% of pedal travel at 1.00 means 25% brake application, same with 50, 75, and 100%? I think that is what it means.

If so, then what does 2.0 mean, or the default for my G27 is 2.40. Does that mean at 10% brake pedal depression I am getting 2.4 times hat much?
