If you are getting pitmaneuvered it is either you braking too soon with AI close behind you or you returning way too late to throttle or full throttle and AI is not having time enough to react to how you are driving.
Try reducing AI difficulty but rise aggression, with more aggression AI will also increase its "awareness" (at least that is how I think it work from my tests but I dont do much racing against AI).
Humans drive that way too. Even the streamer professionals do this. So no matter where you race you don't get away from stupid behaviour.
Turning on the aggressiveness of the AI close to 100% (don't need to change the difficulty) did help. It will not make it more aggressive against you, but it will make it more aware of your presence.
If someone has an idea for the AC, I would really appreciate it.
