XBOX 360 Controller re-mapping

I think this game is great. I want to purchase this game. However, before I do, there's one thing I want to know. Is it possible to re-map the button if I use xbox 360 controller? For example throttle is RT, Brake is LT.

I have the previous game (Assetto corsa) but it only allows very limited button remapping for xbox 360 controller. If I'm not mistaken in Assetto Corsa, I couldn't remap the throttle to RT instead of right stick (right analog button)

Remapping is still poor. Cam with analog is not possible.

It's very similar but a bit more options. Cam is not possible but throttle and brake is.

Ok then. It's a bit better. Is it possible to use left stick (left analog) for steering?

Left analog is a default for steering.

Both AC & ACC allow using left analog stick for steering and triggers for throttle/brake.

i dont understand why they chose to not let the players choose their best configs like automobilista 2 :/ so frustrating

It's really weird but AMS2 has the worst gamepad support.

AMS1 lets players choose their best configs, AMS2 doesn't and it forces every controller player to play with built-in controller filters enabled, and the filters can mess up steering inputs.
My favorite games to play with controller are AMS1 & ACC.

AC is amazing as well, you can tune so many parameters... like in ACC.

I am using the ps4 controller. The only 2 buttons I cannot change are the throttle and brake; L2, R2; you can edit the rest and you cannot pan around with the analog as well.

It's okay then if l2 and r2 are used for braking and throttle, as a long as you can use analog for steering.
