Sprint race DSQ

Hello everybody,

I don’t find an answer of my problem in any subject already open.

I am playing a championship vs the IA with both sprint and endurance races. I insist on the fact that I do know the rules in both series.

Today I ran Zandvoort sprint races. I got DSQ on the finish line both times without any warning, with the following message « you have been disqualified for ignoring minimal driving exigence » (this is translated from French so sorry if it’s not the exact words of the game). I did my mandatory pitstop with driver swap and tyre change during the mid race pit window. The three lines were green to make the pitstop « VALID » according to the big window in the rear corner of the screen (where you choose which tyres and driver you want to select during the pitstop). Both drivers did their stint, tyres were changed, and the pit window was respected with IA cars stopping before and after me in both races.

Can someone explain where I went wrong? I honestly can’t see what I did or did not do that caused the DSQ and the game doesn’t explains a thing.

In the multi function display (MFD) did the Orange rectangle with the number 1 in it turn green after the pit stop was completed? Also did the pit window end while the car was being service? Are you certain the AI was not in for repairs and had already completed their change?

It's easier to answer if we can see a screenshot or a video with the MFD displays after the pitstop.

I have absolutly same problem. I restarted the race several times, each time I checked that tyres was changed, drivers changed too, pit stop wasduring pit window, no orange rectangles after pitstop, speed was limited at the pit lane, no warnings during race. Just DSQ after the race. This problem began after last update. Really annoying!!!

+1, even on 3rd try 1st race won and 2nd DSQ.

You can check it out, nothing should be wrong, unless the DSQ is for another reason... yet the game gives no explanation at all.

Its a bug. You have to make absolutely sure, you are in the driving lane when exiting the pit. If not, the stint timer will not start after the reset for the current driver.

If you are in pitted in the last pit, you have to make a hard left to make sure you get back in the driving lane before you exit the pit.

Yes, it helped to me. Thank you a lot. This game is more realistic than I expected :) But i think it would be some warning right after pit in case of driving not on the lane.

Glad you got through. I didn't notice that and I did a couple of races on that track just to test but I do try to be as realistic as possible when driving. The only issue I had with Zandvoort was the number of AI cars getting stop and go 30s penalties and DSQs for speeding at pit entry.
